* RNRD - Rassemblement National pour la Réforme et le Développement (National Rally 
   for Reform and Development) (known as Tewassoul)
* SJN - Sursaut de la Jeunesse pour la Nation (Burst of Youth for the Nation)
* UDP - Union pour la Démocratie et le Progrès (Union for Democracy and Progress)
* UPR - Union pour la République (Union for the Republic)

The National Assembly consists of 146 members, of whom 106 are elected from single-
member constituencies. 20 members are elected by national proportional representation 
and 20 members are elected from national lists reserved for women. The first round 
was held on23 November and the second round on 7 December.
